Is it true trimming your hair stimulates hair growth or is that the hairdressers lie ?

Maybe I should trim my hair more often then...I could use more hair...Is it true trimming your hair stimulates hair growth or is that the hairdressers lie ?
Only to the extent that dead ends are cut off and new hair will grow back better if treated properly and the dead ends are gone. Every hair is different.............so be gentle to your hair and hopefully you can control the split ends so the hair can grow. Hair always looks better when it is cut by a hairdresser and the split ends are cut off.Is it true trimming your hair stimulates hair growth or is that the hairdressers lie ?
No...But it really isn't a lie, either. Split ends cause breakage, as the split in the hair continues up the hair strand. So while hair grows from the roots, Your hair won't grow longer. Which is where the whole trimming grows hair faster bit comes in. When you trim off the breakage, It grows better.
cutting your hair will make your hair grow, its just how it works. u cut ur nail, it comes back, get a hair cut, it grows back. so it has to stimulate hair growth or we would all be bald or have a permeate hair cut.
it's tru it's tru
nope true true
It definitely true when cutting your nails so i guess its the same with your hair.
No it's true....trimming the dead ends off allows your hair to grow faster and healthier.
It sure the Hell hasn't filled in any of my Baloney spots yet.
Yes, it's true.
I was wondering the same thing
yup! And it makes it look so much less straggly
