My neurologist who prescribes the medication I must take said Propecia should show some hair growth in 4 months. My physician said it will not stimulate hair growth, just prevent hair loss.

Propecia only helps to prevent further hair loss, to slow it down. But even this is not 100% effective. As far as stimulating new growth, Don't hold your breath on that one!!! You'll be very disappointed. clinical tests have never proven anything like that. It only slows down the RATE of hair loss. Nothing more. and as soon as you stop using it, all bets are off!!!
